INTRODUCTION
Handwritten numbers look slightly different to its print form, thus it is also important to learn how to write numbers when you are practicing Nepali. I have included the number system as well, because numbers are counted a bit differently in Nepali.

FIVE TO NINE
EXAMPLE NUMBERS
THE NUMBER SYSTEM
Unlike the International System, Nepali has its own number system, with intervals in two instead of three (except for the first interval which is three).
Example | Twelve million (12,000,000) is written as 1,20,00,000.
The number system along with the division lines are given below. Note that the names for the number units are the anglicized versions of their Nepali counterparts.
The first three numbers will be in an interval of three, while any number after that will be grouped in intervals of two.
